  • Connectivity: Primary connectivity is ethernet. If either Wi-Fi or cellular enabled devices are required by the merchant, it must be clearly stated when submitting the PayCompass application.  
  • Payment acceptance: Accepts EMV chip, tap, swipe, and EBT transactions 
  • Use cases: Fixed countertop environments (convenience stores, liquor stores, smoke shops, boutiques, and markets), restaurant and quick service counters (counter service restaurants, cafes/coffee shops, and takeout counters), grocery stores & markets with EBT, pharmacies & healthcare front desks, hospitality front desks, municipal offices, and small professional offices 
  • Signature capture: Yes
  • Receipt options: Paper receipt and no receipt. SMS and email can be accommodated provided the Desk 3500 is either integrated with a POS system that provides those features or if the payment gateway is configured to provide SMS or email receipts. 
  • Tips: Yes
  • Compatible software: Although the Desk 3500 does not natively integrate with software such as QuickBooks, WooCommerce, or NetSuite, it can be configured to integrate one of three ways: via the payment gateway, via the POS system/middleware, or via a processor supported API
  • Supported pricing models: While Interchange Plus is supported natively,  cash discounting, surcharging, and dual pricing must be configured by the processing company
