B) Union Demo Process
Sales agents are required to become certified with the Union offering prior to scheduling a demo request.
The benefits of becoming certified include full access to the Union booking calendar, exclusive Union swag that helps agents present Union independently, invitations to quarterly Zoom sessions where Union answers questions live, and access to Union’s cloud-based repository which houses both marketing material and sales facing collateral.
NOTE: Sales agents who request a demo but are not Union certified will be denied their demo request.
The Certification Process
- Agents are encouraged to review the content provided by Union: Union Pre-Certification Content
- Agents are also encouraged to access the Union library prior to taking the certification course: Union - ISO Resource Center
- After reviewing the content, agents can begin the certification process. Agents are encouraged to set aside at least 45 minutes to complete the certification: Click here to begin the Union certification
- After completing the certification process, agents will receive an email from Union stating if they passed or if they need to redo the certification.
C) Financing options
While there are no direct financing options available for Union with PayCompass, merchants that decide to move forward with Union will be required to provide a 90% down payment to Union with the remaining 10% due after installation. Union does their financing this way because the timing for installation is typically four weeks and they order hardware approximately four weeks prior to the installation date.
