Dejavoo Z6 – Encryption Key Download

CHECK DATE/TIME on Z6 before attempting RKI

  1.  Red Key on Z6 if device is at Welcome Screen (password 3586)

  2. Touch 3 Lines on bottom left of screen

  3. Select Utility

  4. Select Settings

  5. Select Date/Time

Check Ethernet Connection at Z6 before attempting RKI

  1. Move ethernet cable to Z6 port on Y-Cable (Next to Power Connection)

  2. Red Key on Z6 if device is at Welcome Screen (password 3586)

  3. Touch Time at top right of screen

  4. Select Ethernet

  5. Confirm Ethernet shows connected with IP Address

  6. Toggle Ethernet off via toggle button if IP Address is 0.0.0.0

  7. Toggle Ethernet on

  8. Hit Green Key to Connect

  9. Confirm IP Address populates


Dejavoo Z6 RKI 

From terminal idle screen "WELCOME"

      1.     Press the Red X key and enter password 3586

      2.    Press the green OK key to access the application Core Menu, password 1234

      3.    Select Applications

      4.    Select Pinpad

5.    Select Settings. Password 3586

6.    Select Security

7.    Select Inject Keys

8.    Select Remote Injection

 

Select Certificate Management

 

1.  Select RKL. Register    

2.  This will be followed by a login prompt (login 1: 123456, password1: 123456 Login 2: 654321, password2  654321) for 2 users.

Terminal will display "Terminal Signing: Loaded" after the terminal has successfully created a certificate.

 

To download Debit Keys

 

1.     Terminal will be in the Certificate Management menu. Press yellow key to navigate 1 menu back

2.     SETUP REMOTE LOAD, then SELECT DEVICE Group Name and choose the key you are trying to encrypt (typically PPSTSYS-1301)

3.     Select RKL Load Keys


   When terminal is completed it will display “Key Loading Succeeded”
